This one might be a little low.  Good Will Hunting is an amazing film.  This one was genuinely hard to just choose one scene from (the scene in the park may be better then this scene).  I like what this scene depicts though.  That the world and culture sees Will as a “savant” (particularly the Professor) and a modern day genius, but he is so broken from his past and all the rage and torment he carries.  All of that brings him to his breaking point.  Here is #4:

This is my favorite movie of all time and I’ve just began thinking about why this movie moves me so much and I think I have a possible reason. It is a good picture of the Gospel vs. Religion. The religion perspective is portrayed by Stellan Staarsgard (MIT prof) who wants Will to prove himself and earn his love and acceptance. He continually pushes Will to prove himself and reach his “potential”. Robin Williams, and Will’s friends, represent the Gospel in that they love him for who he is, a messed up kid and all. It is not until Will experiences the depth of that love, especially in this scene, where in a sense he is “cleansed” from guilt, that he is transformed.
